An important note on Coronavirus / SARS-CoV2
The spread of this virus has reached a global scale, seeing more and more countries shut down their borders, implementing more forceful measures to limit the spread and try to contain it. The team and myself recommend that all of our community members take the appropriate measures to protect yourselves, your loved ones and the people around you. Please do remember to:
- Use a tight fitting face mask with the right type of filter. This may not be common in western countries, but I firmly believe that this is an important measure to take to limit the risk of both contracting the disease and infecting others if you have already been infected yourself. To make sure you achieve maximum protection when using a face mask, please ensure that you follow the recommended guidelines for proper mask usage as published by the World Health Organization
- Wash your hands frequently using soap and water or an alcohol based disinfectant
- Maintain social distancing og at least 1 metre whenever possible
- Avoid touching your face, particularly when you are outside of your own home as many things you touch may be contaminated with SARS-CoV2
- Make sure you and those around you practise good respiratory hygiene by covering your mouth and nose with your elbow or a single use tissue when you cough or sneeze
- If you develop a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
- Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority
- Stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare provider and your local and national health authorities
